After living in New Zealand for 8 years, I decided it was time to step into something new and start a fresh chapter in Australia, the Land Down Under.

It wasn’t something I’d planned, but when I saw the chance, I remembered: when you see an opportunity, you just have to seize it.

So why the move?
Australia is huge—it’s a whole continent! There’s so much to explore, and flights to other countries are often cheaper compared to leaving New Zealand.
I wanted to experience real Aussie life, and honestly… life is short. If I don’t try now, when will I?

I moved to Melbourne in February 2024, and I just celebrated my first‑year anniversary here. I’ve loved my stay so much—and I’m still loving it. I adore the vibe, the Victorian‑style buildings around the CBD, the wild graffiti in Hosier Lane, the friendly people, the markets, and the endless food options—it all feels like a little bit of magic every day.
