G’day Bagdoy! Today, I’ll be sharing our Manly Beach adventure from May 28th… a day that started gloomy, ended in heavy rain, but still turned out absolutely amazing! 🎉

📍 The Experience: When Sydney’s Weather Tested Us (But We Won!)

My friends from the Philippines were visiting Sydney, Canberra, and Melbourne, so I decided to join them on their last days in Sydney. After our Manly Beach trip, we continued to Canberra, and later I gave them a tour around Melbourne here in ✈️ Melbourne, Victoria, AU.

🌧️ The Manly Beach Walk: Gloomy Skies, Heavy Rain, But Still Beautiful!

I arrived at Sydney Airport and the day started with gloomy Sydney weather. I took the public transport going to our friend’s place to drop my luggage. Even it’s gloomy and a chance of rain lol, we were determined to explore Manly Beach. After our beach walk, the rain came down heavily but glad we were able to finish our walk just in time! ⏰

Even though it rained, Manly Beach was still amazing. The coastal views, the ocean vibes, and the whole experience made it worth every moment. This is one of those days where the weather didn’t defeat us and we conquered it! 💪

Our Manly adventure wasn’t just about the beach walk. Here’s what we did:

First order of business haha! We grabbed classic fish and chips – the perfect beachside meal in Sydney. Simple, fresh, and absolutely delicious! 🍴

🪶 Cockatoos Spotted!
We saw cockatoos roaming around Manly! These native Australian birds are such a special sight. Seeing them in their natural beachside habitat was a magical moment. 🦜

We spent time roaming around Manly, exploring the streets, cafes, and the whole beachside suburb vibe. It’s a bustling beachside haven with beautiful beaches, cool cafes, and so much more.

🍪 Butterboy Cookie: Chewy & Delicious!
We tried the famous Butterboy cookie at Manly and let me tell you, it was chewy and absolutely delicious! 😋 The texture is perfect soft, chewy, with just the right amount of sweetness. This is definitely a local treat you shouldn’t miss when you’re at Manly.

Sometimes the best travel memories come from trying local treats you wouldn’t normally get. This Butterboy cookie was definitely one of those moments. 🍪✨

🚌 Manly Beach Commute: Easy Bus Ride, Google Maps Made It Smooth!

Manly Beach is super easy to commute to! Here’s the breakdown:
• Ride time: Almost an hour (but totally worth it!)
• Transport: Just take a bus
• Tool: We used Google Maps to check bus schedules
• Result: Smooth, stress-free commute! ✅

The commute might be a bit long, but the destination is absolutely worth it. Manly’s coastal beauty, the beach atmosphere, and the whole experience make that hour ride feel like no time at all. 🎯
