Step Into the Wizarding World: Harry Potter Exhibition Experience in Brunswick, Melbourne ✨🪄

Calling Potterheads!💡

If you’re a Harry Potter fan like me, then the Harry Potter: The Exhibition in Brunswick, Melbourne is basically the closest thing you can get to Apparating into the Wizarding World.
We visited on 18 May 2025 and honestly, it was one of the most magical outings I’ve ever had in Melbourne. You can see it from my photos – look at the happy excited face LOL.

Why it felt like actual magic 🪄

As someone who’s never read any other book series from cover to cover (the Harry Potter books are the only ones that made it all the way through for me!), this exhibition felt like a full‑body nostalgia hug.
From the moment you walk into the Fever Exhibition and Experience Centre at 62 Dawson Street, Brunswick, you’re surrounded by authentic props, costumes, and recreations of iconic film scenes—like the Great Hall, the Whomping Willow, and even the Dementors.

You can:
• Get up close to Harry’s wand, costumes, and creature props used in the films.
• Try your hand at Quidditch, pot a Mandrake, brew potions, and cast spells.
• Even earn points for your Hogwarts House with a wristband that tracks your magical choices.

It’s interactive, detailed, and genuinely makes you feel like you’ve stepped into the movies rather than just looking at a display.

How it reignited my HP travel bucket list 🌍

As fantastic as the exhibition was, it also made me crave the real deal Wizarding World experience.

Right now, my Harry Potter filming location tour bucket list is on overdrive. I’m dreaming of a trip to the UK to see:
• Alnwick Castle (Hogwarts’ exterior scenes)
• Gloucester Cathedral (Hogwarts’ cloisters)
• The Warner Bros. Studio Tour – The Making of Harry Potter just outside London.

Being surrounded by props and sets in Brunswick made me feel like this is just the warm‑up act; the filming location tour is the main event I’m saving for one day.. at a time.💡
