🌤️ A Chill Melbourne Walk from DFO South Wharf to Emporium 🚶‍♂️📸

Yesterday, Melbourne gave us one of those perfect weather days that makes you want to get outside and just wander around. It was a bit chilly in the morning but went 20-ish degrees from lunch time. You can see people took off their jackets already including me.

I started at DFO South Wharf, hoping to find a pair of socks lol, but the store search didn’t really go my way. Still, that’s part of the fun of outlet browsing.

DFO South Wharf is a popular outlet centre next to the Melbourne Convention Centre, with plenty of fashion and lifestyle stores under one roof. It’s the kind of place where you can easily lose track of time while checking different shops, comparing deals, and hoping the one item you want is somewhere hidden in the mix. I didn’t end up buying anything, but the visit still had that relaxed weekend feel.

After that, I decided to head back toward Emporium and took the scenic walk through Southgate and Southbank. Southgate sits along the Yarra River and is known for its restaurants, cafes, and city views, while Southbank is one of Melbourne’s most iconic riverside precincts. It was the kind of walk that doesn’t need a big plan just good weather, a bit of movement, and the city doing its thing.

One of the best parts of the day was stumbling across an awesome street magic video on my YouTube. That random little moment matched the mood of the day perfectly, light, fun, and a bit unexpected. Sometimes the best city experiences aren’t the shopping wins, they’re the simple walks, the atmosphere, and the little things you notice along the way.

It was a chill day in Melbourne, and honestly, that was enough and I had 15k steps. 😄 If you want to have a nice wander through the city and a good vibe try this route you’ll love it.
