Cableway’s Valley Views & Walks 🌳

Then the Scenic Cableway, steepest in the Southern Hemisphere, descends 545m with panoramas of Orphan Rock and Mt Solitary. 
At the bottom, the 2.4km Scenic Walkway boardwalk winds through ancient rainforest—spot lyrebirds and glow-worms! Pair it with the Buunyal Indigenous tour for cultural stories on Gundungurra Country. 
Loved riding Cableway up while Railway down (or vice versa)—that “opposite” combo maximizes the fun! LOL

The rainforest immersion down there is next-level serene after the rides.

Pro-Tip 💡 Snag an early timed ticket online (open 9am daily, longer in holidays), hit the rides first to beat crowds, and pack a light jacket for misty winds—stay for the café’s Blue Mountains views.
